Subject: Re: "French" revolution no more

Dear Alanh,

Bonjour; actually, we are only changing our name to "revolution motors" so
that we do not alienate our local(Austin & surrounding counties, Texas)
customers, most of whom no longer drive the French cars they once
owned! Therefore in order to stay in business locally(service & repairs)we MUST
let people know that we are more than JUST FRENCH..if we do not, we will not
be able to stay in business to service French cars, which we intend to do
(&provide parts for them)as long as Peugeots, Citroens and Renaults etc. are
there to be serviced!...........remember the cover of the "Hitchhiker's
guide to the Galaxy"
which says DON'T PANIC on its cover!.....also, we don't intend to change
frenchrev.com, but to twin it with revolution motors.com so that our French
car customers do not lose faith .....so do not lose heart! please read my
article in its entirety and you will note that we are adding to our our
Frenchness by becoming more universal in attitude: if you think about it, if
Peugeot and Renault had been more universal in their apprach(marketing),
maybe they would still be selling cars here!
remember, "chauvinist" is also a french word too!
a bientot, please disseminate this letter
to the other members of the Car club newsletter(we're too busy servicing
Peugeots etc to keep up!)
salut, Pat Whale
