Sorry to post this rather than send it directly to the maintainer of the
"engines" page, but I left the original message at work, and engine info is
here at home, so...

Peugeot 403:

shop manual; and the owner's manual)

Compression ratio -- 7.5:1
BHP -- 58 @ 4900RPM (according to shop manual)
BHP -- 65 @ 4750RPM (according to owner's manual)

Head -- hemispherical, aluminum alloy
