I can sell you a used one for $250. As there was relatively little trouble
with this tranny, unlike the BA7-5, I think a used one is a good bet. I can
have my rebuilder go through it for $125, if that would make you feel
better. I think I have a very low mileage, virtually new one for $450.

As Bob Bruce says, this trans was used in several gas Peugeots as well, but
there are important differences, as well as between yours and an 81
turbodiesel tranny. Get the correct one and save yourself a lot of grief.
