I doubt you can see the dipstick through the oil because of SLICK-50...more
likely it's because you use good oil.
I just bought a used JEEP Wrangler two months ago, 72,000 miles, varnish on
the end of the jipstick, and VERY noticeable. 3,000 miles later of using
CASTROL Syntec synthetic oil (5w-50) the varnish is gone!
