Radu. Typical Peugeot problem. There is a "paper clip" trick you can
perform. I don't know the details. Tamara, do you? This happened to
me, on the road, far from any help or tools. I ended up destroying
the ignition switch and half the column getting underway. Ray

Hi everybody,

There's something wrong with the ignition switch in my 91 405 DL; I cant
insert the key in there anymore - it stops about halfway in. Meanwhile, I
can hear the "key in ignition" chime when I open the door. All I can think
of right now is to go spray some WD-40, hopefully it will free the
mechanism. Are there any other suggestions ?
