I have a 89 405 DL and a 91 405 Mi 16.
I also have a 94 Saturn SL2, a 89 Jeep Wrangler, and a 94 Honda Helix
scooter.

Only the Saturn and the scooter were bought new. Everytime I take a Peugeot
into the shop, from the first 504 of a decade ago, it's at least a $300 bill
for the fix. Nowadays more like $1000 a visit. I love the cars, but they're
spending more and more time in mothballs to prolong their life, and my bank
account. Pretty much hobby cars. What's a kick is, since they're in near mint
condition, they are often mistaken for a Mercedes or BMW until the person
takes a second look.

American cars are just SO much easier to fix, and less expensive.
