An easy answer to this one for me. I like driving something different. I
hate "seeing myself" on the road. What makes the thought of a BMW, Benz or
Volvo even worse is I would never want to be associated with the class of
people that generally drive those cars around here. A bit too Yuppie for
my taste.
As much as we beg and hope for Peugeot to return, I'm confident that even
after that unlikely return they'd never became mainstream. So I'd end up
with a car that:
- is fairly unique
- most comfort on the road (athough the new Volvo's are pretty good)
- good style and performance
- great quality (if you believe the Euro-press)
- same price as the competitors
