82 -505 sunroof

Hi Group. Im having the following problem with the sunroof on my 1982
505td. when in the closed position their is a gap at the rear of the
sunroof. causing a wind noise and when "EL Nino" arrives Im sure a water
leak! The headliner is ripped and I have complete access to the
sunroof. So, what can be done? is there a repair trick? does the cable
need to be replaced? is that procedure difficult? Are parts available?
any suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks in advance.
