Rumor has it that Ford makes the best cleaner for these idle speed motors.
I bought a can yesterday for my Mi16 "Tune-up Spray" they call it. $9.95 list
$7.40 trade at my local Ford dealer (Canadian $). I pumped a bunch of the
cheap carb cleaner into my Mi16 already with little improvement. A couple
shots of WD-40 subsequently made a bigger improvement next its FoMoCo
time.
