My '89 309 (1580cc) started behaving very badly on trafic lights: On
green light, it would start normally, and after 4-6 seconds of normal
acceleration (I've shifted to second gear by now) it would stall for
half a second, then come back with a force that makes the car spring
forward. Very bad for the engine and for my neck.
This only happens when the engine is already warm.
My mechanic sent me to clean to carburetor. The carburetor guy sent me
back to clean the fuel path. Any thoughts?
