505 Starters

Hey Ray S, After reading your post for months I have reach the
conclusion that if you had a rubber duck it would drown ;-) I have owned
7 Peugeots since 81 they were mostly 505s except for a 504 and a 604,
diesels, turbo & non, and gas, both turbo & non. The ONLY time they
have ever been on a hook was when they were hit by other cars. As far as
starters go I always replace with lifetime from jobbers. I even had to
replace one of these at no charge by the jobber after 100ms; that's as
far as the orignal one went. These were on the same car which now has
over 200m and is driven daily by my wife in her territory. We have
another 505 wagon with over 150m on the orignal starter and I drive it
