1.Why does my car's rear end suspension jump up when put into Reverse,
back down in N, and then drop even lower when put into D.
I've heard of some citroens that had some suspensions that would adjust
at certain speeds, but have never heard of the peug having it.
Although, I've never asked (to embarrased)no mechanics have ever
pointed out anything wrong with the car to me. The only reason it bothers
me is that the old '83 (RIP) 505-sti didn't do anything like that. '83
was manual '87 is auto. I'm pretty sure the trany isn't the exact
replacement for the original (previous owner thought it was a wagon
trany).
Just a nagging curiousity that I feel every time I put the car through
its gears. Any comments would be appreciated, thank you.
