All 4HP22s are the same length--no difference for wagons. But bellhousings
are different for each engine. If the bellhousing was wrong, the trans came
from another engine, and there may be many internal differences between it
and your original, including the speedo gears. Your ZDJL engine uses the
lowest rear end gearing of all 505 engines, so your speedo must be running
fast now.
