My Peugeot is sick. Doesn't feel to well. I didn't get hold of my
mechanic yet but I hope I will soon. The symptoms are following: it was
driving perfectly yesterday, today I went to start the car, turn the
ignition key and heard a funny abrupt "pop" sound. Car wouldn't start.
The starter works fine, the battery is OK, the engine starts for a
second or less and then dies. What could that be? I've never seen
anything like it.
