Fred's Foreign Cars, a dealer near me in Philadelphia (long-time Peugeot
and Citroen dealer, now selling middle- to high-line used foreign cars) has
two interesting Pugs on the lot right now...
an 89 Mi16, just taken on trade. Has 75k miles, appears to be in very good
condition. One owner, (probably sold & serviced by Fred's, come to think of
it). White with red leather. Needs a clutch and tires; perhaps more, I
didn't drive it. They'd let it go as is for about $2,000, or can bring up
to snuff.
a 92 405 DL wagon. White with vinyl. Looks really nice, has a bit less than
60k, I think. I didn't get much of a look at this one as it went out on a
test drive right after I got there. I don't know what they want for this.
As usual with them, it depends on how much you want them to do to it. They
mentioned it hasn't yet had the 60k service, which is kind of a biggie,
isn't it? Otherwise, it appears to be ready to go, as it was up front on
the lot. The Mi16 was around the back as they had just taken it in and
needed to do the work to get it ready for sale.
I have no association with these guys other than I've known them for a long
time and have had a happy relationship with them for many years and through
a bunch of Pugs.
