I spoke with my trusted local dealer, he's heard nil.

Some thoughts....

- there were about 15000 405's sold in the US. That's a lot of $$ if PMOA
does them all.

- if the Feds pushed them on this, that is another vote in PSA's eyes
against the US market (?)

- could it be that someone at PMOA is feeling generous or needs work to
do? If they're not processing stuff would they get paid for being a
Maytag man?

On the number of Peugeots on North American roads...

Wonder if there's a way to take a SWAG (stupid wild-ass guess) at how many
Peugeots are still on the road. How's this for a start.... I'd say I see
3 505's for every 2 405's at my local dealer. The other models are so few
and far between, I'll ignore them. Now, let's assume that 10% of the 405's
have gone to the grave leaving 13500. With the 3/2 ratio that would leave
20,250 505's left or a total of 33,750. Now that's a completely wild
estimate but I'd be curious on any guess by the rest of you!
