What is the mileage on your car?

I've heard bad things about the early ABS. I do not have it on my '89
Mi16, it may have been an option on Mi16 that year. Given all the trouble
you've had, I think I would consider a conversion back to non-ABS if
that were possible.

You might find this to be your biggest resource. Mi16's in junk yards are
few and far between........make sure the junk yard owner doesn't crush
it!

Where are the blled screws you describe? are they on the radiator itself?
The two bleed screws I know are 1. in the middle of the back coolant
rail that runs parallel to the fire wall behind the engine valve cover,
and 2. located on top of the thermostat housing. The radiator has a
drain valve in the lower corner. In the US, our problem has been the 2
rubber rings (about the size of your palm) that go into the thermostat
housing mounted between the radiator and the ditributor cap. These rings
can leak coolant into the Mi16's cooling fan temperature switch below,
causing it to malfunction, your cooling fans to stop working, and your
engine to overheat in traffic.
This housing was updated on US models, and may not be the same one used
in HK.

Some guy in the UK put two pictures showing speaker builds for the 405
on the Internet. I don't have the address, but I found it easily
searching the Web for "Peugeot 405". One speaker build was a V-shaped
wooden box with two 12 inch sub woofers on the inside of the "V". This
box was mountred in the trunk and the speakers blasted through the hole
in the center armrest (after removing the ski bag that was located there)
in the back seat. The second build showed very professional looking front
door builds featuriing 8 inch speakers (mid range?).
