I went and looked at it today, it is parked at a shooting range I belong
to about 20 miles away. You are absolutely right the fitting is
broken.
On the way back from the range the right front caliper on my Suburban
went out. I am wait for the 3rd catastrophe any time now.
I will try to find the part in town Monday morning. Thanks to everyone
on the list who has taken the time to help out. It is nice to have that
kind of support.
