I just had my 405 headlights replaced today by a dealer in MA.
My '89 Mi16 has 99k miles on it, and the headlights were yellowed and
faded, but no worse than many others I have seen.
My dealer simply asked the regional Peugeot representative, who approved
the warranty repair. My dealer was not aware of this informal program
until I told him about it, and seemed a little surprised the rep approved
it. My dealer had a set of new 405 headlights on the shelf, which may or
may not have made the process easier.
Peugeot is a little stingy on the labor they will pay for under warranty,
so my dealer charged me for 1/2 hour of labor, which I gladly paid.
The new lenses look great and really light up the road.
Thank you Angel Fernandez for bringing this to the list's attention!
