Ailing 505 Turbo

I have a comatose 86 505 Turbo GL that just hasn't been the same since the
rear fuel pump died last month. After paying the local garage about $450 to
replace the pump, it still started. After it caught, it ran rough and I had to wait
until the beast warmed up in order to have any power. Then it failed to start
at all. I had it towed to the local shop again and spent another $100+ for
them to replace plugs. When I picked it up, it ran roughly unil I tried to move
it and then it died and wouldn't restart. The shop obviously got it moving and
left it for me saying there was nothing wrong (at no charge). It ran ok after
warming up for a few more days (allowing me to get past closing on the
hacienda), but last week I got it to start, but when I put the auto in drive, it
stalled and failed to restart. I have not as yet tried garlic powder, Cajun
Voodoo, or getting my old girlfriend to talk seductive French niceties to it.
I don't think that the thing is terminal enough to simply consign to the
junkyard. It only has about 75K on the clock, good rubber, a fresh
inspection, no rust I can see, comfy seats and a great A/C. However, in
order to sell it or even to avoid pissing off the condo association, I've got to
get it running. I haven't seen any shop/repair books for the Turbo, and am
reluctant to have it towed to the Peugeot ex dealer (a Plymouth/Chevy
dealer now) to hand over the contents of my bank account.
Comments/suggestions appreciated.
