Hey Justin,

I've been driving one of these for almost 4 years now and had no major problem
with it; my engine is still strong, doesn't burn a drop of oil, my
transmission (5-speed
manual) has been bulletproof so far, didn't even need brake pads since I've
bought it.
Not even a lightbulb if I remember correctly!

Among the minor problems that don't exacly qualify as "maintenance" are:
needed new
alternator, the electric mirrors quit, the sunroof works during "open" only,
I have to
close it by hand.

In conclusion, the 505 turbo has no endemic problems (405-burning-oil-style)
that
I'm aware of, I've been very pleased with it, and I intend to hand it over
to my son
when he'll be 16. At that time I'll hopefully drive a brand new fiery-red
Peugeot 408
twin turbo bought on sale from my local dealer in Austin, TX.

Regards and merry shopping,

Radu
