There is no clutch adjustment, but your brake fluid may be low--the clutch
hydraulics take fluid from a spigot halfway down on the brake fluid reservoir
compartment, and if the fluid drops below that you can get a reduced stroke.
Alternatively, the throwout arm on the bellhousing may be cracked, allowing
it to flex and not fully disengage the clutch.
A common place for the exhaust to leak is at the torque convertor couplings.
Usually these are repairable, involving simply welding a new made-up flared
section to the end of the headpipe to replace one that has rusted off, or
simply rewelding the old one where its weld has broken. You aren't welding
the cat or the flanges! just repairing the pipe.
I stock the rear two sections of exhaust, and can get the headpipe and front
connecting pipe made if yours aren't repairable.
