We have converted both our cars and motorcycles to synthetic about three
years ago, and I would not use anything else any more. I can not comment on
the long term impact of synthetic, but I can report that all engines are
noticeably less noisy, and the motorcycles' transmissions shift better (the
transmissions share the engine oil).
