Peugeot's response

I guess I wouldn't expect Richard Mathis to be able to give us a thorough
answer as I suspect (and all respect to him if he's reading this) he's
somewhat isolated from the decision makers at Peugeot.

It's also unlikely that they'd break the ice or otherwise reveal anything
here on this forum.

Rather than be critical of this situation when we of course are "at their
mercy" wouldn't it be better than to keep the hopeful tone that Justin had
in his original question and hope that we get our "wishes granted".

A week or so ago, I wrote in some mail that Peugeot "was listening" as I
had received mail from them etc. At that time I outlined my history with
Peugeot and ventured that I would buy a car. They sure won't come back
just for me. Why don't we all ignore the fact the corporate->consumer
communications is always bad, even within the US, and let Peugeot know we
want new cars without criticizing them.
