Ermm...180 Celcius water temp and 190 Celcius oil temperature kind of
says it all. Those temps are the highest readings the gauges on the
Mi16 will give and he should of stopped the car long before it got that
hot. Even when my connecting rod bearings blew at 160km/h on the
highway did I get readings that high.
However, that still doesn't explain the cause for the oil and water
getting so hot. I would go with the alternator as being the cause.
It's in the front right of the car which was were Mr. Secco says the
fire started and this is a common cause of car fires.
