Rover if you have interest

I have Rover catalogs and stuff but I don't recall anything named
Maestro being produced at the present time (may be there is, I didn't
see one). That nice Rover WWW site has whole range of Rover cars, but
alas no Maestro. Incidentally, it is an Italian site with a list (and
map) of Rover dealerships throughout Italy. It means they (Rovers) are
exported.

By the way, why Rover doesn't sell their cars here (under Rover brand),
it has a decent (snobbish?) reputation here. They could sell them all
they long through Land and Range Rover dealerships and forget their
Sterling nightmare. I also read that Rover's car export sales are going
through the roof while their UK sales are down. Although Rover's parent
may be not delighted about idea of canibalizing some of the BMW sales...

I am afraid that if our beloved Peugeot would ever decide to reenter US
market (at this point, after that ominous minivan story, an unlikely
development), it would have to build up from scratch. Unlike BMW/Rover,
it seems Peugeot had nothing left here.

I ordered some silly bolts through Lew and they came in a yellow padded
envelope with a Caterpillar label -- yet another indicator of what is
going on with Peugeot in NA.

Cheers.
