Did you solve your problem ?

I want to tell you one of a problem I had with my 309 1.9 carb
at cold all was fine but when the engine was at normal temp, starting the
engine was very hard and the rpm does sometimes not decrease behind 3000rpm
or die.

Now the problem is solved. The cause was a broken "automatic starter
mechanism" (that is the part aside the carburator which depending the
water temp push the throttle) which asked for more richer than needed
all the time.

The only solution was to change this part (very easy) but tune it is hard
without the special peugeot tool.

But I don't know if you have the same system.
