I believe that I have seen the torque tube that you describe. Is it a
metal shaft approximately 6 ft. long w/a gear surface on the inside
diameter? The owner showed me this shaft sitting next to the car (ie.
it is not installed currently). Is this what connects the transmission
to the differential? If I am understanding this correctly, the torque
tube would need installed and then I would need to find out if the
differential is in fact good or bad. Any clarification would be
appreciated.
Thanks.
