I am working on the same problem right now on my 87 505 STI. I found a
set of switchs at a salvage yard for about $20.00. They are not the
proper ones, as they are not backlit, but hey finding a 505 V6 in a junk
yard in Houston is rare. The switchs do make the click-click sound though.
