405 idler pulleys

Has anybodt just changed the $10 bearings on the 405 belt idler pulleys
rather than trading the arm and leg for the whole assy??????????

PS: If anybody has a spare wornout timing belt idler pulley assy. from an
early 8 valve 405 ie: 89-90
I'd love to get my hands on it for experimentational purposes.
