405 Euro lights and recall

Jim,
What's the difference between the Euro lamps and the North American
one's on the 405?
I've seen plenty of European 405's (in Europe) and didn't notice much of
a differance.
Also, does anyone have any solid updates (as I opposed to "I think...)
on the headlight recall?
