I looked in the 405 non ABS and they say nothing about not pushing the
fluid back thru the system. They even say to remove some fluid from the BF
resevoir. Oh well . What is the real story. A couple guys I know won't do
it any more because tthe master cytlinders on a couple pad replacement jobs
went sour soon after. Opening the bleed while pushing in the piston allows
the fluid , usually dirty to escape .
It never hurts to change the fluid. It should be wise to clean out the
resevoir if dirty.
