Dear Balamurugan,
Thank you for your reply.
The reason why I want to change almost all of the cables is I want to put
everything back to its original condition. These are including sensors,
gauges, etc. Anyway, I have "coughing" problem at 4.000 rpm and above. I
suspect electrical/grounding problem. Injection cable? Possible?
Sure I can trace and rewire (I have the diagram handy). But I don't want
going crazy about bad connector, too thin cable, etc. Neat and clean (if
possible).
Now the book. I make a copy of spare part book from my local dealer. This
book "divide" your car into the smallest part. Usually, it's given by the
distributor(?). I note "Printed in France." If you really need this, I will
ask my dealer to make a whole copy. FYI, it's photocopied, so I must
re-photocopy it. Don't expect the quality, please

Why do you want to change the entire wiring ? It may not be a very
good idea unless your present wiring is in a hopeless condition.
Or you could consider replacing only the troublesome portions ( most
likely only the engine compartment wiring should be in a bad shape ).
If you think getting the orginal harness would be difficult, why not
rewire them to original circuits, using any connector available ? Or
you could splice the new wires to the old connectors ( if they in a
good shape ), leaving a short bit of the wire on the connectors for
this purpose.
btw, is it possible for me to get a copy of the spare parts list &
service manual ? Is it available in your place easily ? And do they
cover the 505 GL models ( sedan and wagon ) ?
I own a 505 GL sedan 1983, 505 GL sedan 1984, and a 505 GL wagon 1987.
regds.,
