1985 505 STI - Hot Stuff!

My recently purchased 505 suffers from the same problem that my
girlfriend's old 505 did - overheating, especially in the hot NC weather
like we are experiencing now. Is this something that is inherent with the
vehicle design, or is it fixable? I'd like to hear your experiences, and
possible remedies. I've yet to take it to a garage for checkout, which is
probably my next step. Doesn't appear to be leaking cooling fluid.
