Yes David
I saw on one of the F1 servers that BAT Reynard is now official for 1999
although they havent finalized buying a team Im sure they will by
playing them off against each other.
Im sure this was the plan all along and is the reason Villeneuve went to
F1 in the first place .
He's not happy at Williams a very cold team compared to his Indy team
and I repeat I dont believe for a minute all the slipups lately arn't
calculated .
Formula 1 reminds me of the Courts of Europe with all the intrigue and
alterior motives , when so much money is involved it attracts only the
best.
Villeneuve and his extended family will do very well financially out of
F1.
TYRES
I think will improve ,the problem is of course just what do you have to
do to slow these cars down. The've baned turbos
,activesuspension,reduced the engine size.
Some thing has to be done to reduce their speed substantially it needs
to be more a contest of drivers not chassis.
I personally would like to see the top teams adopt the bottom teams and
hand down there previous years cars to them , the top teams can afford
it and the lower teams need the technology.
Or maybe a weight penalty like in the British 2litres personally my
favourite motorracing alon with rallying.
Also with motorcycle racing I only watch the 250 and 125 races the 500
puts me to sleep Its competition that makes racing interisting, this is
the thing I like about the Indy -Cart racing unfortunately I cant listen
to the commentators particularly their analogies, very painful but that
is my opinion .
Hope your having a nice summer David
Its flippen freezing here
