Passenger Floorboard vibration

My wife indicated to me that she noticed a vibration in the floorboard =
of my 505 last night.
We were at "hunting for a parking space speed" in a parking lot. I have =
also noticed that
my a/c compressor seams at bit louder lately. Just as a precaution, does =
anyone know
the interchangability of compressors on the various 505 models? Mine is =
an 87 V6.
