I checked for the 5-speeds when I was over at the BMW place and they said
only automatic. If you could give me a part # or model number for your
transmission I could ask. The article said that ZF was supplying these
transmissions for E30's, E28s (early 80's 3 and 5 series), the 6 series and
both old versions of the 7 series cars (E23 and E32). I'll be going over
there again tomorrow or the day after.
