This list seems to be back (I haven't gotten any mail on it in weeks)!
So...
I have a '79 504 diesel which, I'm sorry to say, has reached the point
that I can no longer keep it on life support. It needs a fuel injector
pump and a primer (fuel filter) pump, and I can't seem to find these
parts (and have the work done) at a price less than at least twice what
the car is worth.
So if anyone either wants this car for parts or (better yet) wants to
try to keep it alive, it's yours (contributions to the final mechanic's
bill welcome but not necessary). Otherwise, it's going to the junkyard
as soon as I can get a duplicate title issued. It's in Wilmington, DE
(where it died on the way back from Philadelphia to Virginia).
