Some of the cars I've had in the past don't have a filter. Others which
do, and I've changed, have always been very clean leading me to wonder
"why bother?"

So, I now change AT fluid on my annual spring maintenance regardless of
distance traveled and don't worry about the filter.

Should I reconsider this philosophy?
