Mike I don't have much to add to your interesting story, which I had not
heard before. I had a silver Liberte sedan which had a Hertz sticker at the
bottom of the B pillar. I think it had manual rear windows, and may have had
no cruise, but otherwise I would say it was just like an 86 S.
