309 fog lights

Does anybody know how to connect fog lights on 309? I've found 4 wires
(two on each side) behind the front bumper that apparently serve for
that purpose. However, when I plug the fog light to any of wire pairs
and with any of the combination of light switches, the fog light simply
stays dead. I assume there must be some simple way to enable those
lights, since they've already pulled the wires. Maybe some hidden fuse
or switch?

Also, to anybody having 309 GTI: I understand GTI is the only model
that is equipped with those fog lights. I would like to know by which
switch do you activate fog lights (that could help me finding the right
way to connect them).
