A dealer friend just indicated that Peugeot of North America has just
revised the 405 headlight recall to include the headlight "buckets"
(whatever those are) which are probably the receptacles in which the
headlights are placed. The inclusion of the buckets is a result of the
problems encountered with broken headlight adjusters. I am not sure, but
it sounds like if you replace the buckets, you don't need to replace the
adjusters?
Regardless, it sounds like the recall is back on ( after having been on
hold for a while), and I would suggest any 405 owner waiting for the
replacement, check with their dealer to get a current update.
