505D exhaust

Question...Is the exhaust on a 505D any different than that on a 505TD?
I'm due for a new one, and was wondering if they are different, then
perhaps I could fit my 505D (a.k.a. "Sluggo") with an exhaust with
less backpressure, and perhaps get a little more uumph out of this
thing. Any comments?
Just trying to avoid getting hit by a semi while merging,
