At this point I must dissagree with Robert. In my opinion, 305
(following after 304) was predecessor to 309, produced from 1988 to
1993, which was then predecessor to 306, which is being produced from
1992 'till now. Peugeot's series "3" can be described as lower-mid-range
class car, comparable to Renault 10, 12, 18, 19; Audi 80 (from 70's);
Citroen GS, BX; Fiat 128, Ritmo, Tipo, Bravo, etc.

405 followed by 406, clearly belongs to upper-midrange class, and as
such they are successors to 404, 504, 505.

Of course, there is always some overlapping between most expensive
models of lower class and the higher one, but they should be compared at
the average priced levels.

That one is definitely true, which is the reason why Jim doesn't need
it's image for his site.
