It cost about $1400 CDN to ship from Montreal to Amsterdam. Actually,
that is how it is advertised, but the dock is actually in Rotterdam,
which can be quite a hassle if you have no way of getting there from the
airport in Amsterdam. I wouldn't do it again but it was a good
experience. Next time it'll go to Rijeka, Croatia. It's about $1600
for that route but you can get just about anywhere in Europe from there
(and filling up with fuel in Croatia will be your cheapest fill up!).
While researching the shipping costs I realized that shipping from New
York seemed to be cheaper, but the CDN-US exchange rate coupled with the
fact that I'd need return transportation from there really prohibited
that as a choice. You can also ship to Poland, but I've heard too many
horror stories to attempt that myself.
