Still need help with radio codes.

Well,

As luck would have it, the previous owner did leave the little
Peugeot card with the codes... buried in the tri-fold owners packet.
Simple,.. right ? Wrong!
I turn on the radio.
It "asks" for the codes.
I put in "51423".
"Blureep"...Wrong.
So,
I probably am missing something in the procedure.
Any suggestions?
