Euro headlights conflict?

Just checking guys... one of our local Peugeot types says that if you
put the full glass Euro light fixtures in the 505's (at least the 82 -
83 like we have), there is a conflict with the air cleaner assy on the
diesel models and you have to switch back to the 504 (foam?) type filter
to allow proper fit. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.
