Rabin,

Thanks for your response,

Yes, I have to have a cat on my car, Cincinnati, has bi-annual emmission
testing I'd get caught if I took it off.

My rear muffler is fairly new, a year or two I think, can I leave it in
this custom system you're talking about or should it go as well?

Is the custom system something I could talk to my dealer about? or
should I look for a "custom muffler" shop to do the work?

The midas cat is a "cheap" glass baffled cat. Would that be enough to
screw up the car's performance? It's only a year old, however I did
have it one for about 4 months while the car was still burning oil. I
don't know if that would have shortened its life or not.

In any case (since I plan on keeping this car for another 120,000 mi,) I
take it that it's your recommendation to put a new custom exhaust system
on the car at my earliest possible opportunity?

Thanks
