My Dilemma

As some of you know I own a 504 sedan, gas. I have the opportunity to buy
a 504 sedan, diesel. I want to get some opinions on which car I should
keep and which I should strip for parts. The gas is badly rotted under the
doors and in many other places. The diesel's body is in much better shape.
Is it possible to switch the engines and would it be worth it? What
should I keep from the car that I do strip? How are the diesel engines in
this car? My plan is to make one good car out of two.
What is involved it changing the engine in the diesel to gas? Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Justin
