Rattle in roof, and power steering problems

An annoying rattle has developed in the roof of my 405 Mi16, right at
the end of the travel of the sunroof on the right side of the car (ie
right over the head of a passenger sitting in the rear on the right
side). I have no idea how to get in there to look at it. Anyone have
any idea on how to remove the ceiling from the inside?

The steering is also juddering now when turned sharply at low speeds,
typical of low steering fluid. Unfortunately, there is plenty of
fluid, and I've bled it with no effect. Any suggestions on what to
look at next?
